Aaron deGruyter is an Austin, Texas-based visual artist, printmaker, painter, and illustrator. Originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico, he studied at New Mexico State University. His work draws heavy inspiration from the Chihuahuan Desert, anatomy, spirituality, and the dynamic relationship between life, death, and human vulnerability.
