The USA grown/sewn bandanas are not manufactured by us, they have an overlock poly thread edge and are just your standard issue bandana. They are typical of your standard bandana you would find in a craft shop. They are cut and sewn by machinery (I have seen it in action, very cool!), this is made possible by the stiffness of the fabric due to the coloring process. Once the bandana is washed, it softens considerably.
 
The exception to this is the natural/undyed option, which is soft from the get go, as it does not go through the process to give the fabric color.
 
However the threads used to weave this fabric are open end spun which produces a coarser, fuzzier fabric that is known for its durability and ability to withstand washing and wear. It is commonly used in workwear, and it is well suited for a bandana fabric in this regard.
 
Aside from samples and natural with cotton overlock, these must be ordered in multiples of 12. The minimum order is 48 pieces, unless ordering one as a sample with prior approval.
