Meet our February artist- Mishka Westell @mishkawestell.
Mishka is a British artist who made her home in Austin, Texas 15 years ago and enthusiastically threw herself into its thriving gigposter art scene. She has since created artwork for many of the world's most revered musicians, events and publications. Her prints are illustrated by hand and screenprinted, or carved into a block and hand printed on a press. Her art is reminiscent of a bygone era, and composed of highly detailed decorative scenes influenced by 60’s counterculture, psychedelia, surrealism and antique book illustration. She has a passion for wildlife and nature which directs much of her subject matter choices, including this bandana design.
