how it all began....

All Together Now began as an idea many years ago as a way to synthesize my interests in growing and foraging food, creating delicious & healthy meals and fostering community.  It also serves as an outlet for my other interests of spending time outdoors, arts and crafts, herbalism and finding ways to connect to the people and places around me.  All these things together influence my decisions and aesthetic.

Be it pheasant hunting with my dad, fishing in lakes & rivers, preserving the seasons bounty with a kitchen full of helpers or bringing together folks for a dinner party- food is the way I connect with the landscape and people around me.

With a Masters of Science degree in holistic nutrition from National College of Natural Medicine, ten years of organic farming experience, and working in every kind of from-scratch kitchen there is, I am excited to collaborate with YOU.  Whether helping you to meet personal wellness goals, planning your big event or creating food for your home table, I am committed to bringing the freshest, most nutritious & tasty food no matter the occasion.  Food is our most delicious medicine and it is my aim to create food for you that is good for your body and your soul.

As a farmer, forager and local foods advocate, I embrace all of the delicious bounty of the bioregion, and so my style of cooking focuses on simple, yet elegant preparations that highlight natural flavors.

You can rest assured that I am doing all I can to promote and embody sustainable principles.  All ingredients are always first sourced from my own garden, or from the local region.  Food tastes best and is most nutritious when it is eaten in season, and for this reason, I try my very best to cook with the seasons.  I make every attempt to divert as much waste as possible, by composting, offering sustainable delivery options, and cooking appropriate amounts of food.  We welcome feedback and innovative suggestions.

In addition to my utter passion for food, I love foraging, creating and collaborating.  I am available for classes pertaining to foraging, primitive skills (natural dyeing, basket weaving, spoon carving, herbal medicine making) camping or hiking trips, and more!  I hope to someday have a venue to welcome you to participate in these classes but in the meantime we can meet in the forest, classroom or your home.
